Hi, we're Mike & Kim Nichols.  We first caught the log home fever when we were invited to visit Kim's employer's mountain log home.  The home was amazing.  All log homes have unique aura that intrigues all people even those who have no desire to live in one.  We were hooked.  We decided at that point to go to a log home show in Charlotte and do research on log home companies.  We visited all the log home company booths at the show but one stood out.  We went back to Kuhn's Bros. display several times and were invited to a log home seminar.  The seminar was interesting and informative.  The best part about the seminar is that nobody gave us a high pressured sales pitch.  We spent the next year looking for land, paying off bills, and researching log home companies.  The more we learned, the more we liked Kuhn's Bros. because of the No Shop Package and the Kiln Dried Logs.  Our home was delivered a year later in February.  We were the general contractors of the home.  We faced the usual building headaches, but moved into our home within a year.  We are still working on the finishing touches.

     We became Authorized Sales Representatives for Kuhns Bros. in the Triad after our home was built. We joined Dominic Augustine in 2008 to serve Asheville and the surrounding area. Dominic owns land in Asheville and he will build a log home there in the near future. We have sold several log homes in the North Carolina Mountains.
